The Philippine Chamber of Commerce in Italy acts as a key bridge for Filipino businesses, offering a comprehensive platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and business support to its members. History
Under the guidance of Philippine Ambassador to Rome, H.E Nathaniel Imperial, and following discussions with our founding chairman, Dennis Carrascoso, the idea of establishing a business community for Filipinos in Italy was conceived. Several months later, on February 3, 2024, a group of business owners, led by Carrascoso and Leopoldo Reyes, came together to develop what would soon become known as the Philippine Chamber of Commerce in Italy.

On February 15, the Chamber's appointed General Secretary, Benette Ramirez, facilitated the first general assembly. During this meeting, the Chamber's foundational structures were put in place through the drafting and approval of its Statute and Constitution.

By May 10, 2024, the Chamber was officially recognized and registered by the Italian Government. With the board of trustees and executive officers taking the oath of office, the ceremony was presided over by Ambassador Nathaniel Imperial. This significant milestone was marked by the presentation of a Plaque of Pledge of Friendship and Cooperation to the Philippine Embassy in Rome, symbolizing a commitment to strengthening the business sector for Filipinos in Italy and fostering economic cooperation between Italy and the Philippines.

On June 13, the Chamber launched its pilot project, "Mindanao Tapestry II," a fashion show that celebrated the artistry of iconic Philippine fashion designer Ms. Renee Salud. This event showcased Philippine raw materials in fashion, promoting eco-friendly and sustainable options. During the event, members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce took an oath to support the growth and collaboration within the Filipino business community in Italy.
